Open SUB File

SUB files are the most well known for being subtitle files for MIcroDVD, DivX, etc. It includes the text and the cue points when it should be displayed. SUB is also used by files used the Sub Terra PC game and contains levels that are to be played in the game.

Open SUB File on Windows OS

  • Look for an SUB file you need to open in Windows Explorer and double-click on it
  • If the file doesn’t open automatically and you see a “Windows can’t open a file” message then you should search for a program which can open SUB file
  • If you have a program which can open SUB file installed on your computer then launch that program and select “File” and then “Open” or similar options from its menu to open the SUB file
