PVM files are most commonly used by the Parallels Virtual Machine application. These file contain data stored on a virtual hard drive that is required to boot Windows inside the Mac OS environment. PVM files are also associated with the HP Photo Album application and the Photo Video Manifest application.
Open PVM File on Windows OS
- Look for an PVM file you need to open in Windows Explorer and double-click on it
- If the file doesn’t open automatically and you see a “Windows can’t open a file” message then you should search for a program which can open PVM file
- If you have a program which can open PVM file installed on your computer then launch that program and select “File” and then “Open” or similar options from its menu to open the PVM file
