FTM files are mainly associated with the FamiTracker audio application that is used to create audio modules. These FTM audio modules were used in Nintendo NES systems. It usually includes short audio samples followed by system played melodies. This is a proprietary format that can be ported to WAV and NSF formats through the FamiTracker application itself.
Open FTM File on Windows OS
- Look for an FTM file you need to open in Windows Explorer and double-click on it
- If the file doesn’t open automatically and you see a “Windows can’t open a file” message then you should search for a program which can open FTM file
- If you have a program which can open FTM file installed on your computer then launch that program and select “File” and then “Open” or similar options from its menu to open the FTM file
