CBR files are usually compressed digital comic book archives that have images files such as JPG, PNG or GIF compressed through RAR compression. The pages of the comic book are stored as ordered image files so that they can be presented side-by-side as and how required.
Open CBR File on Windows OS
- Look for an CBR file you need to open in Windows Explorer and double-click on it
- If the file doesn’t open automatically and you see a “Windows can’t open a file” message then you should search for a program which can open CBR file
- If you have a program which can open CBR file installed on your computer then launch that program and select “File” and then “Open” or similar options from its menu to open the CBR file
